After months of snow, mud, and especially salt, your carpets need a breath of fresh air. Here's what you need to know to make them look like new again:

Neutralize the salt: calcium acts like tiny glass crystals that cut through fibers. Use a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar to dissolve dark circles. Dab, don't rub!

Vacuum slowly: take your time to allow the vacuum cleaner to extract the sand and dust lodged deep within the knots.

Prioritize drying: prevent unpleasant odors by ensuring rapid drying (less than 12 hours) with good air circulation.
Expert know-how: for precious carpets or high-traffic areas that require special attention, nothing can replace experience.
