An immersion that changed everything
It all started with a memorable human experience. For a year and a half, I lived with a family with three children. In exchange for room and board, I took care of housekeeping and household chores.
During that time, I witnessed firsthand a reality that thousands of parents experience: mental overload. I saw how domestic logistics—washing floors, dusting, never-ending dishes—can stifle joy and steal precious moments.
Much more than cleaning: quality time
By taking care of the housework, I saw an immediate transformation take place before my eyes. Parents were no longer just "chore managers"; they became available to their children again. The atmosphere in the house changed, becoming lighter and more serene.
That's when I understood a fundamental truth: having someone take care of your home is not a luxury, it's an essential need to improve your quality of life.
It was with this specific mission in mind that I founded Pause Ménage. I didn't want to just create a cleaning company; I wanted to offer my clients a real "break." A break in their schedule, a break from stress, and above all, a break from their mental load.
